Accra, Ghana – The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released important information regarding the 2023 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for both school and private candidates. The School Selection Portal, facilitated by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), is now open, allowing candidates to choose their preferred schools online for the 2023 placement.

Key details of this announcement include:

  • Portal Availability: The School Selection Portal will be accessible from October 3rd to October 24th, 2023.
  • For Private BECE Candidates: Private candidates are required to visit the portal at https://www.waecinternetsolution.org to make their school selections. To log in, please use your Index Number as the Login ID and your Date of Birth as the Password.
