NTC to increase license exam pass mark by 20%
The Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG has issued a statement addressing concerns surrounding the Ghana Teacher Licensure
Examination (GTLE), which took place from Wednesday, September 13, 2023, to Friday, September 15, 2023.
Rumors have been circulating about a potential increase in the pass mark for the GTLE, with some suggesting it could be raised from 50% to 70%.
However, TTAG wants to clarify that, as of the moment, there has been no official communication from the National Teaching Council (NTC) or any relevant authority regarding such a change in the pass mark.
The leadership of TTAG is actively engaged in discussions and efforts to obtain official information or documents regarding any potential changes to the pass mark. They understand the significance of this issue for Newly Trained Teachers, who are preparing to sit for the examination
