Considering the expensive internet bundles provided by most telecom companies, the management of the Ghana National Teachers Association (GNAT) has come into a partnership with Ghana’s largest telecom company, MTN Ghana to provide affordable internet data packages to members at very affordable prices.

In this article, we will learn how to register for the GNAT Bundle for existing GES staff and newly recruited GES teachers. This data bundle will allow you to purchase a 10GB data package at a cost of GHS 27.00.

• Any person interested in registering for the GNAT data bundle must be a GES teacher with a valid staff ID and a member of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT).
• You should also have an active MTN Ghana sim card which has been duly registered with your Ghana Card.

How to Register for GNAT Bundle

• You must first register during the registration window in order to be able to purchase the package during the purchase window.
• Both the registration and the purchase must be made during the open window period.
• All the windows are currently closed at the moment and will be opened in a few days. (Note: you may join our telegram channel for updates on when Windows is opened).

How to Buy the GNAT Data Bundle

• Dial the shortcode *80008# on your phone
• Select option 1 – Staff bundle offer)
• Select option 2 -request bundle
• Enter beneficiary’s phone number (Note: Must be a registered GNAT member)
• Select the bundle package ( 27 or 54) factor charges and taxes
• Confirm your entries and submit your request
• Wait for a payment authorization alert to complete the payment process
• Enter your mobile money PIN and proceed with your purchase
• An SMS receipt from GNAT and your service provider will be sent to your phone to confirm your purchase.
• Congratulations, your account will be credited with your purchased data bundle

Terms of the GNAT Data Bundle Offer

• It is ONLY available to GNAT members across Ghana.
• The offer is not pay-as-you-go. It is open for purchase periodically. One cannot buy it as and when they wish. Make payments only when the offer is open. Any payments outside the window will not be serviced.
• Disbursement of data purchased is not instant. It is processed after the period for payment is over. Members have to exercise patience and wait for the data to be sent to them in due course.
• ONE staff ID can be used to purchase data for only ONE phone number. This rule is strictly enforced.
• One can only make purchase for the data ONCE in any opened offer window. They can, however, make purchases for every subsequent offer in any open window if they wish.
• The offer is only for GNAT members. Any person who is found trying to cheat the system will be blacklisted and BANNED from subsequent offers.
• The offer is currently available only to MTN users.
• The data is requested in these two ranges GHS27 for 10GB and GHS52 for 20GB. Purchases can be made only in these two price ranges.
• Before you can access this data packages, you have to register with your staff ID through a Link that will be shared in the telegram channel when the registration portal is opened.
• After registration, purchase of the bundle can be made through 80008# when the purchase portal is opened. Any further details are communicated periodically on the Telegram page.
