Ghanaian versatile artist (singer – songwriter ) “Don Freezy” is one of the best new arts to look out for in 2020. Freezy, known as Philip Gyimah Junior, was born in April 25th, 1985. Freezy is a dynamic and creative artist whose work includes high-life, reggae and dance-hall music.
Freezy came out of the group called (Ahohou). He is an imaginative singer songwriter and is fearless in his choice of music he sings. Freezy previously featured on three tracks by the legendary Paa Solo in 2008. Freezy’s emergence as an individual solo artist shows his maturity in the music business. He says, “this is the start of something special”.
Freezy’s first single Konkonsa is now making ways in the music scene in Ghana. Before he released Konkonsa, he was already one of the most buzzed about new artists in the music industry.
